About Us

Located in the beautiful and historic desert town of Maricopa, Arizona, Animal House Pet Resort, Maricopa Citys' only licensed pet boarding and grooming resort, is a culmination of a lifelong love of all kinds of pets. As a little child growing up in the bayous of Louisiana, Sean had many opportunites to catch snakes (her favorite) and hide them under the bed unbeknownst to her younger sister . Well, sister did NOT share this same love so things would get crazy sometimes when one would escape!! Sean has had horses, many dogs and cats, chickens, peacocks, ducks, cattle, an alligator, turtles, mice, lots of bugs and bayou critters on occasion. She feeds anything that looks hungry and is always the protector of all animals wild or tame. Sean learned to groom dogs over 30 years ago, learning from a lady from Chicago who took Sean under her wing and taught her how to groom . She has worked in several shops and has operated a mobile grooming service in the Valley years ago; later on she opened a pet resort in Pensacola, Florida that was featured on Channel 3 News twice and also a featured story in the Pensacola News Journal newspaper. After going through Hurricanes' Katrina and Rita Sean decided to return to Arizona.

The town of Maricopa, Arizona is now progressive; it is filled with many new faces, lots of pet people who are looking for a great place to bring their baby for a day of fun while parents are at work, or maybe you just want to have that dinner party while your pet spends some "me time" at the Resort.
